iMemories is dedicated to maintaining and protecting your privacy. This includes the privacy of both your information and your home videos and photos. By using our service, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. This Policy explains what personally identifiable information ("Personal Information") we collect and how we use the information so we can continue to provide outstanding service to you.

Protecting the Privacy of Your Personal Information

When you sign up with iMemories, you establish a password-protected personal account for watching, sharing, organizing, editing and storing your home videos and photos, as well as for using our other services. In order to establish your iMemories account, we will need your name, e-mail address and password.

The password will allow you access to your private, personal account; as such, it needs to be as secure as possible. A good password includes seemingly random letters and numbers, and isn’t obvious (such as names of a pet, child or spouse).

You can update your account information and change your password at any time. You will find this at “Personal Profile” on your personal My Account home page. If you have forgotten your password, you can set a new one by contacting our Customer Service team.

When you order iMemories Archives or Movies, or other paid products or services, we will need the shipping address, billing name and address, as well as the credit card number and expiration date.

Testimonials are used to show the benefits of certain products and services that iMemories offers its customers. All testimonials in which Personal Information is included are always consented to prior to posting.

Any contact with our Customer Service team or communication from you, such as chat or e-mails, may be recorded to help us provide better service.

iMemories uses state-of-the-art protection, including Secure Socket Layers (SSLs), to encrypt pages when collecting sensitive information such as your password or credit card number. This measure is designed to guard against interception of this information while it is on the Internet. You can tell if you are using a secure page by looking at the bottom of your browser window where you will see a lock. If the lock is closed, the page is encrypted.

iMemories keeps the Personal Information you provide on servers that are protected against intrusion or unauthorized access by firewalls and other technological means. The servers are located in physically secure facilities, and only iMemories employees and agents are given access to the information on a need-to-know basis.

Protecting the Privacy of Your home videos & Photos

iMemories is designed so that you can control who may view your home videos and photos and any associated information stored in your iMemories account. We are committed to keeping your home videos and photos private and secure. We will never make your photos publicly accessible, except by your explicit action, or as otherwise noted in this policy. Please note that if you choose to post a link to your iMemories home videos and photos on your own or others’ Web sites, or you share your photos with your friends or family members and they post your share invitation on a Web site or forward to other individuals, these home videos and photos may be accessible to others who view the e-mail invitation or visit these Web sites.

iMemories may outsource certain products or services to third parties. In connection with this outsourcing, iMemories may digitize, forward copies of and/or stream home videos, photos, and other items submitted by you to such authorized third parties.

In order to provide quality products, the iMemories employees, along with those iMemories' authorized agents and independent contractors, fulfilling your order or providing Customer Support to you may see your home videos and photos.

iMemories holds home videos and photos for at least one (1) week after an order is complete or you delete them from your account and then iMemories removes them from our data storage. If you accidentally delete your home videos and/or photos or change your mind after deleting them, you’ll have one (1) week to recover them by contacting our Customer Service team. We’ll restore all of the home videos and photos you’ve deleted, if they are available, and send you a confirmation e-mail.

Protecting the Privacy of Your Friends & Family

Sharing your home videos and/or photos electronically through iMemories online video and photo sharing service is one of the key benefits we offer. If you want to share home videos and photos with friends and family, you need to enter their e-mail addresses. An invitation with a Web link created specifically for your home videos and/or photos will be sent to them. They may view, save, or purchase products from your home videos and/or photos. We will not add their e-mail addresses to a mailing list, or send them further e-mail unless they sign up and choose to receive such communications from us per this privacy policy.

Your iMemories account contains an address book where you can store mailing and e-mail addresses of your friends and family. You can use this information to quickly and easily share your home videos and photos and send products from your account. iMemories will never use the information in your address book for any secondary purposes.

Likewise, if you use our Refer a Friend program to refer iMemories to your family and friends, we will use their e-mail addresses to send your invitation. We will not add their e-mail addresses to a mailing list, and we will not send them further e-mail unless they sign up and choose to receive such communications from us per this privacy policy.

Changes and Notification

We reserve the right to modify our privacy policy at any time. If our privacy policy changes, the revised policy will be posted on this site and we will change the “updated” date on this page to reflect the date of the modification. Please check back periodically. You will be notified via e-mail and/or prominent notice on our Web site for 30 days of any material change in our privacy policy or of other changes to the policy at iMemories' discretion.

We will notify you via e-mail and/or prominent notice on our Web site for 30 days before transferring your Personal Information to a new entity as part of a merger, acquisition, reorganization or sale of some or all of our assets if the new entity's treatment of your Personal Information will materially differ from the treatment described in this policy.
